The Top Shelf Brothers of Southaven (MS) Alumni Chapter has attracted affluent members in great numbers due to its location in a great area thriving with opportunities. The Charter members came from a diverse number of undergraduate and alumni chapters within Kappa Alpha Psi thus giving it an appeal seen by very few alumni members.

The mission of Southaven (MS) Alumni Chapter Membership Services is as follows:

  • To serve the members of Southaven (MS) Alumni Chapter by enhancing their knowledge of membership services and providing a streamlined and efficient process to the chapter.
     
  • To build strong relationships by developing social and professional engagement that will enhance the Southaven (MS) Alumni Chapter experience.
     
  • Empowering our members to make the most of their experience by letting them measure the effectiveness of their own programs.
     
  • To become a body that always encourages all members of Kappa Alpha Psi, with its resources and services to the Southaven (MS) Alumni Chapter, to rededicate themselves to the fraternity.

The Southaven (MS) Alumni Chapter members are leaders in their careers, which consist of diverse professions. The members have been recognized for their professional achievements and have attained select positions in their chosen vocations ranging from government and law enforcement, financial, educational, and entrepreneurial fields. The diverse membership and professional achievements attract young undergraduate members.

The main objectives of Southaven (MS) Alumni Chapter: To cultivate and instruct Brothers through History, Fraternity, Service and Achievement; To unite in a fraternal bond college men of culture, vision and honor who possess a high degree of commitment to serving mankind; To encourage through fraternal brotherhood honorable achievement in every field of human endeavor; To mentor young men through the chapter’s Guide Right program providing leadership, scholarship, career options and other necessities to students; To sponsor community service and support local schools, youth and provide charitable services to low-income residents and seniors; To promote the social, intellectual and moral welfare of brothers and service in the public interest. We are “Preserving Brotherhood” One Kappa at a Time.
